About Us

Blossomm Flowers is a bespoke floral design studio based in Auckland, New Zealand, founded by Palak Makwana. We specialise in handcrafted wedding garlands, varmalas, jaimalas, bouquets, and special occasion arrangements — each made to order with the freshest blooms and delivered with love across Auckland. Because the people you love deserve the very best.

We are a studio-based florist, operating by appointment. Please get in touch via our contact page or call us on 021 276 7008 to arrange a consultation or collection.

Yes! We are currently taking bookings for 2026 and 2027 weddings. We recommend enquiring as early as possible to secure your preferred date — wedding spots are limited to ensure every couple receives our full attention.

Our Products

A Varmala (also known as Jaimala) is a traditional South Asian wedding garland exchanged between the bride and groom during the wedding ceremony. At Blossomm Flowers, each garland is handcrafted to order using premium fresh blooms. We offer styles including rose and baby's breath, chrysanthemum open garlands, and fully custom designs — starting from $170.

Absolutely — bespoke design is at the heart of everything we do. You can choose your preferred flower varieties, colours, and style. Please contact us to discuss your vision and we'll create something truly unique for you.

Yes! While we have deep expertise in South Asian floral traditions, we create beautiful florals for all wedding styles, cultural backgrounds, and occasions. Every celebration deserves intentional, handcrafted florals.

Ordering

You can order directly through our website. For custom, wedding, or large event orders, please contact us first via our Contact page or call 021 276 7008 so we can understand your vision before confirming.

For everyday gifting orders, please allow a minimum of 48–72 hours. For wedding garlands and custom arrangements, we recommend at least 2–4 weeks notice. For full wedding packages, please enquire 6–9 months in advance to secure your date.

Yes. Please note your required date clearly at checkout or in your enquiry. We'll confirm whether we can fulfil your order for that date. For important occasions like weddings, early booking is strongly recommended.

Delivery & Collection

Yes, we deliver across the greater Auckland region. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location. For deliveries outside Auckland, please contact us to discuss availability and any additional fees.

Same-day delivery may be available for select ready-made arrangements ordered before 12pm on weekdays. Please call us on 021 276 7008 to confirm availability before placing your order.

Yes, studio collection is available by appointment. You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.

If no one is available to receive the delivery, our courier will leave the arrangement in a safe location where possible. Blossomm Flowers is not responsible for arrangements once a safe-drop has been completed. We recommend providing delivery instructions at checkout.

Payments & Pricing

We accept all major credit and debit cards via our secure Shopify checkout, as well as direct bank transfer for larger orders. All payments are processed securely.

Yes. A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your wedding or large event booking. The remaining balance is due prior to your event date. Please contact us for full details specific to your order.

Our website lists pricing for standard products. For custom designs, full wedding packages, or large event florals, please contact us for a personalised quote. We believe in transparent, honest pricing — you'll always know what you're investing in.

Changes & Refunds

Changes to everyday orders may be possible if requested at least 48 hours before your scheduled delivery or collection. For wedding and garland orders, please contact us as early as possible — changes close to the event date may not be possible as flowers are sourced fresh to order.

Cancellations made well in advance may be eligible for a refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of your delivery date are generally non-refundable as flowers will already have been sourced. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

We take quality very seriously. If there is an issue with your arrangement, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with a photo and we will work to make it right. Please see our Refund Policy on our website for full details.

Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers, we are unable to accept returns. Please see our Refund Policy on our website for more information on how we handle quality concerns.

Flower Care

To get the most from your blooms: trim stems at an angle before placing in water, use a clean vase with fresh cool water, keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and change the water every 1–2 days. A little care goes a long way.

With proper care, most fresh arrangements last 5–10 days. Garlands and varmalas are designed for day-of use and are best kept cool and lightly misted until the ceremony for optimal freshness.
