Hello, I'm Palak

I'm the founder and lead designer behind every creation at Blossomm Flowers. From the very beginning, I was the little girl who stopped to look at every flower — drawn to their colour, their fragrance, their quiet elegance. That early wonder never left me. It grew into a craft, and that craft grew into a calling.

Since 2019, I have been professionally trained in bespoke floral design and wedding & event styling. I am a South Asian wedding specialist — deeply fluent in the floral traditions of bespoke ceremonial garlands — as well as a designer of refined bridal bouquets, sculptural centrepieces, lush ceremony installations, and immersive event florals for all backgrounds and celebrations.

I believe flowers are living art. Every stem, every texture, every colour placement is a considered choice. My approach blends botanical sensitivity with editorial precision — creating arrangements that are not simply beautiful, but deeply intentional.

I have always been drawn to the beauty in things — the softness of a bloom, the harmony of colour, the way a perfectly arranged space can make you feel something without words. Growing up, this was just a feeling. Over time, it became a calling.

I continuously invest in my craft — attending industry workshops, training alongside leading floral artists, and staying at the forefront of design trends in both wedding floristry and event styling. I believe a great designer never stops learning. The finest florists in the world share one quality: an obsessive attention to the details most people never notice — the direction a petal faces, the negative space between blooms, the way light moves through a hanging installation at golden hour.

I am also deeply committed to sustainable floristry. I use locally grown New Zealand blooms wherever possible, minimise waste through considered sourcing and composting practices, and make conscious choices to look after the earth we create on. Beauty should never come at the planet's expense.

At Blossomm Flowers, I speak floriography — the language of flowers. I am fluent in seasonal blooms, textural contrast, colour theory, and the quiet grammar of petals that transforms a space into an experience.
