Shipping policy

Blossomm Flowers — Bespoke Floral Design studio by Palak Makwana | Auckland, New Zealand Effective Date: April 2026

1. NZ Wide Delivery

We deliver nationwide across New Zealand. Because fresh flowers require careful handling, all orders are packed with care and dispatched via refrigerated or express courier to ensure your arrangement arrives in the best possible condition.

2. Delivery Areas

We deliver to all regions across New Zealand including:

  • Auckland & Northland
  • Waikato & Bay of Plenty
  • Wellington & Manawatū
  • Nelson, Marlborough & Canterbury
  • Otago & Southland

Delivery to rural addresses, outer islands (e.g. Waiheke, Great Barrier), and remote areas is available but may incur additional fees and longer delivery times. Please contact us before ordering if you are in a rural or remote location.

3. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and order size, and will be confirmed at checkout or in your quote. As a general guide:

Region Estimated Fee
Auckland metro from $15
North Island (main centres) from $25
South Island (main centres) from $35
Rural / remote areas by arrangement

All fees are in NZD and include GST. Fees are subject to change and will always be confirmed before your order is finalised.

4. Delivery Timeframes

  • Auckland local orders — same day or next day, subject to availability
  • North Island main centres — typically 1 business day
  • South Island main centres — typically 1–2 business days
  • Rural & remote areas — typically 2–3 business days

We dispatch orders Tuesday to Saturday. Orders are not dispatched on Sundays or Mondays. Timeframes are estimates only and may vary depending on the courier.

For weddings and events, delivery timing is planned and confirmed with you well in advance regardless of location.

5. Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available within Auckland only for orders placed before 10:00am, subject to availability. For all other regions, please allow at least 1–2 business days from dispatch.

6. Receiving Your Delivery

  • Please ensure someone is available to receive your flowers at the delivery address.
  • Flowers are perishable — they should not be left in heat, direct sunlight, or outdoors for extended periods.
  • If no one is available to receive the delivery, the courier may leave the parcel at their discretion. We are not liable for any deterioration if flowers are left unattended after delivery.
    • If you have specific delivery instructions (e.g. leave at door, deliver to reception), please note these at the time of ordering.

    7. Delivery to Venues & Third Parties

For weddings and events, we can deliver directly to your venue anywhere in New Zealand. Please ensure:

    • The venue or recipient is aware of and available for the delivery
    • You provide us with the correct contact name, address, and phone number
    • Any access or parking instructions are shared with us in advance

We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect information or an unavailable recipient at the venue.

    8. Delays & Disruptions

Once an order is with the courier, delivery timeframes are outside our direct control. We are not liable for courier delays caused by high volume periods, weather events, or other disruptions. We will always do our best to dispatch on time and will notify you of any issues we become aware of.

9. Damaged in Transit

If your flowers arrive damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We will assess the situation and work with you on a fair resolution, which may include a replacement or partial refund. Claims made after 24 hours may not be accepted given the perishable nature of the product.

10. Click & Collect

If you are based in Auckland, you are welcome to collect your order from our studio. Collection times are by arrangement — please do not arrive without confirming a time with us first.
